Actress Ruby Ojiakor could not hold back her tears during the funeral service of Junior Pope held at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe, Enugu State on Friday.
The actress who has been off social media since Junior Pope’s demise could be seen in a video, fighting back her tears as the clergyman gave a sermon.
Ruby was surrounded by some of her colleagues who consoled her as she wept.
The funeral arrangements will be wrapped up with a thanksgiving mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe, on May 20.
The 43-year-old actor was confirmed dead on the night of April 10 after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. Junior Pope alongside four others drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
Ruby and Junior Pope shared a close relationship offline and on social media.
