Isaac Oyedepo, son of the presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel International David Oyedepo, has shed more light on his new ministry.
Last year, Isaac announced his new ministry, Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, raising concerns he might not be on good terms with his father.
However, those concerns were dispelled when Oyedepo blessed his son at the ministry’s unveiling in November.
Speaking with Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s son Pastor Leke on the Confession Box with PLA podcast released on Thursday, Isaac said, “What is quite interesting about this is that while many are shocked God is not.”
He added, “I’m still in Winners, I’m still in Living Faith, I’m still a member, I’m still a steward. I think we just overcomplicate very simple things. Before I came in full-time to pastor I was a member. What I see is that it’s a transition phase, nothing really changed.
“Not seeing me at the altar ministering as a pastor is where the challenge is.
“First of all I’m still born again, I’m still a child of God, I’m still a winner, still a Living Faith member. I’m currently planted in the church in Abuja but then I now have the liberty to pursue what God has called me to do. And really, you can’t do that as a full-time pastor.”
