Senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church Jimmy Odukoya and his siblings are celebrating their father Taiwo Odukoya on his first posthumous birthday.
Born on June 15, 1956, Odukoya died on August 7, 2023 in the United States. He was aged 67.
Jimmy wrote on Instagram, “Happy 68th Heavenly Birthday Pops!!I Miss You!”
Tobi Odukoya-Ijogun, who is now the church’s associate senior pastor, shared a video on Instagram showing memorable moments she had with her dad.
Despite the tragedies that happened, she said the story she would tell is that God did not fail.
“My God did not fail. It’s the story I’ll tell. I know it is well. It’s the story I’ll tell.
“Happy Posthumous Birthday Dad! I love you with all and everything.… miss you terribly,” Odukoya-Ijogun wrote.
Tobi Odukoya-Enuha also wrote on Instagram: “Happy post humorous birthday Dad. You are missed beyond words. Forever loved without measure. We continue to hold on and push on because that’s what you taught us and what you modeled.Hope we continue to make you proud in your absence. Love you.”
Odukoya’s death came two years after his second wife Nomthi, whom he married in January 2010, died following a two-year battle with cancer.
The Fountain of Life Church’s founding pastor also lost his twin sister Kehinde Hassan in December 2021.
His first wife Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died on December 11, 2005, from injuries sustained in a plane crash the previous day.
