Group managing director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc Adaora Umeoji and some members of the management team paid a visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday at the Lagos House, Marina.
Umeoji presented a gift to Sanwo-Olu on behalf of the bank in celebration of his 59th birthday. The governor, in turn, gave her a gift from the state.
Sanwo-Olu said in a post on social media that he had insightful conversations with his visitors.
“I had the pleasure of hosting Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji OON, Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc on a courtesy visit today at the Lagos House, Marina,” the governor wrote.
Sanwo-Olu added that he assured her of his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for business.
“We engaged in insightful discussions about the banking industry and exchanged perspectives on current trends and challenges. She shared her ideas and experiences, offering a unique insight into the ever-evolving landscape of the financial world and I assured her of our administration’s determination in ensuring a conducive environment for businesses in Lagos State,” he said.
The immediate past group CEO of the bank Ebenezer Onyeagwu also accompanied Umeoji on the visit.
Last week, Umeoji and her team paid a courtesy call on the chairman of Dangote Group Aliko Dangote at Dangote Industries in Lagos.
