Singer Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has come out in defence of fellow artiste Davido, following an allegation from Dammy Krane.
Dammy Krane took to his X account on Friday, calling for Davido’s arrest in connection with the death of the latter’s personal assistant, Tagbo.
He wrote, “I’m boldly saying @davido has a hand in Tagbo’s death. If I’m lying, they should sue me. Make everything cast for court. I ready help am spread all hin dirty linen for public. Justice for Tagbo.”
Burna Boy, evidently unimpressed by these claims, responded in the comment section. He urged Dammy Krane to retract his statement.
“Bro WTF are you doing? Take this down now!! Make me and u no get problem abeg. No be like this we dey handle differences,” he wrote.
He further elaborated on his disapproval, drawing from his personal experiences.
“We both know how it feels to be locked up, why TF would you wish that on anyone? I gat love for u but I do NOT stand for none of this police ass shit. Take all this shit down please,” Burna Boy added.
The statement from Burna Boy has taken many by surprise, particularly because of his known discord with Davido. Just recently, Burna Boy seemingly took a jibe at Davido when a fan suggested he should get married, using Davido as an example.
Burna Boy responded, “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg. U nor see weytin him dey face like dis?” making reference to Davido and his relationship with multiple women.
