A conversation between Davido’s babymama Sophia Momodu and the musician’s aide Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, has been leaked on social media.
In the recording, Sophia can be heard questioning Israel about the number of times she called him before giving him the warning.
“Israel, how many times did I call you?” she asked. Israel responded, “More than five times.”
Sophia continued, “Israel, respect yourself because when David was mistreating Imade, all of you kept quiet and acted as if you didn’t know what he was doing.”
She criticised Israel and others for remaining silent as Davido allegedly neglected his child.
“All of you have kept quiet and watched this man abandon his child, then you have the audacity to be saying… I dey take care of my pikin, you dey talk about your oga money,” she said angrily.
Sophia further said, “You people should mind yourselves, Israel.”
She said the only reason she refrained from insulting him is that they are from the same place.
Israel eventually apologised in the audio.
Israel however made a controversial statement on Instagram Story on Sunday.
He wrote, “Any woman who intentionally keeps sleeping with a very rich young boy, who she’s far older than, to the extent of getting pregnant and giving birth, is a fucking gold digger. Such lady has no single shame at all. Sharing a whole chairman’s conversation to the public?”
The post and leaked audio have sparked a wave of reactions and discussions on social media.
