Actress Mercy Johnson on Tuesday shared on social media a behind-the-scenes moment from the set of House of Trouble, showcasing Big Brother Naija star Phyna and actress Yvonne Jegede speaking their native dialect.
In the clip, Phyna and Yvonne, both Edo State indigenes, engaged in a lively conversation.
They showcased their cultural roots by conversing fluently in their native Esan tongue. The heartwarming exchange, however, left Mercy perplexed.
The duo even used their native tongue to promote the movie.
Mercy captioned the video, “2 Sisters connected on my set @iamyvonnejegede and @unusualphyna and @officialsammyleennamdi couldn’t believe his ears when they started speaking their dialect…Rate my Esan at the end.”
This isn’t the first time Mercy Johnson will be sharing such intimate and engaging moment from a film set.
In June, she posted a video on her Instagram page, featuring her younger colleague Regina Daniels wearing her (Mercy’s) 13-year-old wedding gown on the set of Ejiro’s Wish.
In the video, Mercy is moved by Regina’s appearance, emotionally remarking, “You look so precious, like I’m getting emotional,” and proudly stating, “When my child wears my gown from 13 years ago,” before embracing Regina.
