Singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has expressed her reliance on her faith in God rather than hiring an expensive bouncer during her stay in the UK.

Teni on Tuesday took to her Instagram page to share her reasons for opting out of the pricey security service.

She revealed that hiring a bouncer would cost her £500 per day, approximately ₦1 million using the conversion rate of ₦2,090 per pound.

“Bouncer wey I wan collect wey dem tell me say na £500 per day. You know how much be £500?” Teni said before calculating the hefty amount.

The singer remarked that if she gave that amount to one of her aunties, the woman would become her personal soldier.

“Which kian work you dey do wey you wan dey bouncer me for ₦1 million a day? How many days you think sey I wan spend for here?

“If I give my Aunty that money gan, Aunty Kehinde. Aunty Kehinde go turn army. Shey na me be Osama Bin Laden wey dem dey find?” She said in Pidgin English.

Teni on Monday said that on arriving in the UK, she was warned that her luxury necklace could be stolen and that there were stabbers around town.
