Woli Arole knocks Christians for condemning BBNaija

Comedian-turned-prophet Woli Arole has criticised Christians who frequently denounce reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

Woli Arole took to Instagram early Monday to urge Christians to stop condemning the show and labelling it ungodly.

He suggested that instead of complaining, they should create their own godly reality shows, pointing out that numerous Christian billionaires could fund such projects.

Woli Arole emphasised that those who do not sponsor the show have no right to dictate how the housemates should behave.

He said, “Nobody should complain about BBNaija ooooo. Do your own Godly reality TV shows too!!!!! If you don’t sponsor them, you can’t tell them how they should behave. Do yours!!!!! There are billionaires that are Christians, drop money for godly TV shows. Shikena.”

In another post he wrote, “Let your light so shine before men. Matt 5:16. Christians should stop complaining about ‘Darkness’. Shine the Light. Do the contents, do the shows, do the programs, do it, stop complaining!!!!”

These statements come as Big Brother Naija season 9 ‘No Loose Guard’ edition began on Sunday.

The season features 14 pairs of housemates, totaling 28 contestants, all vying for the N100 million grand prize.

The show is expected to run for 10 weeks, with viewers promised new twists and entertainment throughout the season.
