President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas has paid a condolence visit to actor Francis Duru who is mourning his 15-year-old son Ifeanyi.
Emeka shared pictures from the visit on his Instagram account on Friday, expressing the depth of sorrow felt during the meeting.
“Went to commiserate with my brother and member @francis.duru who lost his 15-year-old son. It was a devastating experience. May the Lord give his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he wrote.
Francis announced the death of his son on Instagram on Thursday.
“My champion!! My lion… You fought like a lion… If this is the way he wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful. Ifeanyi my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace, son, rest. I give you thanks, Lord!” he wrote.
In the wake of the heartbreaking announcement, several celebrities including Ngozi Ezeonu, Okey Bakassi, Queen Wokoma, Chinedu Ikedieze and Stan Nze flooded the comment section with condolence messages, offering their support to the grieving actor and his family.
