Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has finally addressed the allegation that he dragged his twin, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr P had earlier on Monday taken to Instagram to share a letter to his brother, addressing multiple allegations.
In a follow-up Instagram post, he made a statement on the EFCC issue that has embroiled the P-Square brothers and their older brother and former manager Jude Okoye.
“I want to make it clear that I never reported my twin brother Paul to the EFCC. Many of you were disappointed when Paul accused me of doing so.
“He claimed I wrote a petition against him, leading to the EFCC asking him to provide a surety, which suggested he was detained. This is not true,” Mr P said.
He also disclosed the results of his investigation into a management company called Northside Music, which he discovered was suspiciously similar to the company used for managing P-Square, Northside Entertainment.
According to Peter, this company was allegedly found to be diverting significant sums of money, with its founders and directors being Jude and his wife, Ifeoma Okoye.
Peter said he reported Jude to the authorities when Paul denied having knowledge of Northside Music.
He added, “I hereby challenge Paul, or anyone else, to show any petition that I, Peter Okoye, ever submitted against my twin brother Paul or that has Paul’s name on it.”
