General overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Daniel Olukoya on Sunday said that among churches that run universities his ministry produces the largest first-class graduates.
Olukoya stated this while awarding 492 first-class graduates alongside outstanding ministers at the grand finale of the ministry’s 35th anniversary and annual convention.
He said: “Of all churches I know of, MFM now produces the largest number of first-class graduates every year.”
According to Olukoya, the gesture was in line with the 70-point agenda for the youth across all the nations in the world.
“I made a statement in 2010 that, any member of the MFM that performs excellently well in school would be given an official car among other cash prizes.
“At the inception, 19 students benefited from the initiative while in 2015, it went up to 115 beneficiaries. I couldn’t withstand the burden so I had to call for more sponsors to partner with me due to the rise of first-class graduates who have been so excellent in their various disciplines over the years.
“Today, the number has drastically increased to over 492 first-class graduates across various tertiary institutions in the world,” he said.
His wife Pastor Shade was assisted in the presentation of awards by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The convention, which began last Friday, saw a huge turnout of worshippers from all over the country while others followed the activities through various alternative channels.
