Publisher of Sahara Reporters Omoyele Sowore on Wednesday paid tributes to his brother Olajide Sowore who was killed on September 4, 2021.
Mr Sowore was coming from Igbinedion University, Okada, near Benin, Edo State when he was shot dead by gunmen.
He was studying pharmacy at the university.
In a post on social media, the publisher described his brother as “passionate and industrious,” lamenting that his killers have yet to be found after three years.
“Today, I honor the memory of my brother Olajide Sowore, a passionate and industrious individual, who was senselessly killed by Nigerian state agents on September 4th, 2021, while commuting from school near Benin City.
“His murder remains unsolved as a result of the involvement of those who should have prevented it, agents of the Muhammadu Buhari regime. May his soul continue to haunt his assassins. Olajide Sowore,” he wrote.
