Comedian and reality TV star Aderombi Adedayo Martin, better known as DeeOne, has spoken out against those ridiculing Pastor Lazarus Muoka and his church, The Lord’s Chosen.
In an Instagram post shared late Sunday, DeeOne addressed the ongoing mockery surrounding the church, which has faced criticism online.
He captioned the video, “Message to those mocking Lazarus Muoka’s church,” calling out Christians for joining in the ridicule of their own faith.
DeeOne emphasised that while some may question the validity of the testimonies shared by members of The Lord’s Chosen, there is nothing beyond God’s power.
He urged those making light of the church to reflect and seek forgiveness.
“Please be careful,” DeeOne warned. “May you not incur the wrath of Lazarus Muoka. He is not an ordinary man you can joke about. If you’ve been laughing, go and ask God for forgiveness.”
The comedian’s comments come amid a trend on social media where the phrase “I am a Chosen” gained traction, following criticism from influencer VeryDarkMan, who questioned the authenticity of testimonies shared by the church’s members.
