Actress Bisola Badmus has opened up about her ongoing 3-year struggle with a brain tumour, sharing more details about her health condition.
In a video posted on Tuesday, Bisola speaking with her colleague Kunle Afod, revealed the severity of her condition which affected her ability to see and recognise people.
She also explained how the tumor has impacted her daily life over the years.
“For the past three years, I have been battling a brain tumor,” she stated.
“There was a point where I couldn’t speak or recognize anyone. I have been on medication, and my condition is improving. They told me surgery wasn’t an option, so I’ve relied on drugs for the past two years. It’s not something I can just stop.”
She attributed her condition to stress, saying, “What causes brain tumors is too much thinking.”
In another interview, shared with actress Biola Adebayo on Talk to B, Bisola opened up about personal losses, recounting the deaths of her mother, father, and younger brother.
She also mentioned the significant financial burden her health has imposed, expressing gratitude for the support she’s received from her colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Notably, in 2023, Bisola had disclosed she was dealing with encephalopathy, a condition that affects brain function, causing confusion and altered mental states.
