Actress Nkechi Blessing has paid tribute to her mother three years after her death.
On Monday, Nkechi shared a video montage of her late mother on Instagram expressing how deeply she is missed.
Reflecting on the emotional milestone, she wrote, “Three whole years without you, mummy, and it still feels incredibly hard. It was today, exactly at 12 pm, that you left this world. I miss you every single day, AFIANMA. đŸ’””
She continued, “Just like I never let you suffer or stress while you were alive, I will carry your memory with me for the rest of my life. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty, Mummy. I love you forever, until we meet again.”
Nkechi also encouraged her followers to honour her mother’s memory by saying, “If you see me around Ikeja, just ask for a box of goodness and offer a prayer for my sweet mother.”
Her mother, Mrs. Gloria Sunday passed away on September 23, 2021 and was laid to rest on October 17 of the same year.
The announcement of her death was made by fellow actress Toyin Abraham.
