Actress Efe Irele has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at the intricate costume and makeup process for her role in Lisabi: The Uprising.
Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, Efe shared a video of herself getting into character as her face was meticulously transformed with makeup and she donned her costume.
The actress clearly excited, captioned the post, “Becoming ĘYĘ 🦅

In Lisabi: The Uprising, Efe plays the role of Ęyę, a mystical humongous bird that allies with the protagonist, Lisabi, played by Lateef Adedimeji.
The story follows Lisabi as he leads a rebellion against the tyrannical Oyo rulers.
The film, released on Netflix on September 27, was executive-produced by Lateef Adedimeji and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.
A collaboration between Al Notions Studios and Anthill Studios, the screenplay was co-written by Niyi Akinmolayan and Yinka Olaoye.
Lisabi: The Uprising is the first part of an epic saga, with the sequel, Lisabi: A Legend is Born, slated for release in January 2025.
The star-studded cast also includes Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Itele Yekini, Mo Bimpe, Eniola Ajao, Liquorose Afije, and Ibrahim Chatta.
