Mo Bimpe shares video of Liquorose in tears while watching epic film ‘Lisabi’

Actress Mo Bimpe, wife of actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared a video of BBNaija star and fellow actress Liquorose visibly emotional and shedding tears while watching the newly released film Lisabi.

Mo Bimpe took to Instagram on Wednesday to post several clips of fans reacting enthusiastically to the film.

In one clip, a viewer is seen engrossed in a fight scene between the characters Lisabi and Sangodeyi, filled with impressive stunts and cinematic effects.

The viewer praises the film in Pidgin saying, “Lisabi too good. I dey watch Nigeria film, I don too watch Nigeria film but I never see anyone like this. Jesus Christ, so we can do films like this.”

Another clip captures Liquorose moved to tears as she watches Lisabi.

BBNaija’s Saga Deolu also shared his thoughts in one of the clips, encouraging Nigerians to check out the film.

Liquorose portrayed the character Abebi, a love interest of Sokenu, a farmer and close friend of Lisabi.

Abebi was tragically raped by Sangodeyi on her wedding day, leading her to commit suicide.

Released on Netflix on September 27, Lisabi was executive-produced by Lateef Adedimeji and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.

The film, a collaboration between Al Notions Studios and Anthill Studios, features a screenplay co-written by Niyi Akinmolayan and Yinka Olaoye.

Lisabi: The Uprising is the first installment of an epic saga, with the sequel Lisabi: A Legend is Born, scheduled for release in January 2025.

The star-studded cast includes Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Itele Yekini, Mo Bimpe, Eniola Ajao, Liquorose Afije, and Ibrahim Chatta.
