Singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo has marked his wife Busola Dakolo’s 40th birthday by creating a song just for her.
Timi shared a video on Instagram on Thursday featuring Busola, with the song he composed playing in the background.
In his caption, the musician expressed his deep love and admiration for his wife, marveling at their journey together and the special bond they share.
“They said if you fall in love with a writer, you will never die because you would be found in pieces of their art. So, I wrote this song for you—and because of you,” Timi wrote.
He continued by playfully describing her, “See as you fine like 10 people. You’re stubborn and love winning arguments, but I like that about you. Sometimes I still can’t believe you’re mine. Everything else I want to say is in the song.”
Timi ended his post by wishing Busola a happy 40th birthday and proudly adding, “You can go and brag and tell the world your husband made a song for you on your 40th birthday. I love you.”
Timi Dakolo and Busola have been married since 2012 and share three children.
