Actress Faithia Williams has joined in mourning Zinat Balogun daughter of her ex-husband Saidi Balogun.
Saidi took to his Instagram account on Saturday to share a post featuring an image of a candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis.
A close source to the movie star revealed to QEDNG that he was in the middle of a stage performance at Terra Kulture on Friday when he received the devastating news of his daughter’s death.
Faithia, who used to be Zinat’s stepmother, also expressed her grief on Instagram with words of submission to the will of the almighty.
She wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (from Allah we come, to Him we shall return).”
At the time of this report, the cause of Zinat’s death remained undisclosed.
Saidi’s first marriage to Sherifat produced two children. Zinat was his first child.
His marriage to Faithia produced two other children — Aaliyah and Khalid.
