The national burial committee set up for the funeral of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has released a comprehensive plan.
Ubah died in a hospital in the United Kingdom on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
QEDNG on Tuesday got hold of the plan released by the committee’s secretary Ijeoma Arodiogbu. According to the plan, the funeral will start with a night of tributes at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
It will be followed by a commendation service on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Church of Assumption, Falomo, Ikoyi.
In Abuja, a night of tributes will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at NAF Conference Centre and Suites.
A valedictory session at the Senate will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
The wake and service of songs will be held in Ubah’s home in Nnewi, Anambra State on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
The funeral mass has been scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024 at Ubah’s home.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 also at Ubah’s home.
Finally, a thanksgiving mass and outing will be held to round off activities on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at St. Peter Clever Catholic Church, Otolo Nnewi.
