Filmmaker Femi Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun, a Netflix Original movie has earned twelve nominations for the prestigious 2024 Best of Nollywood Awards (BON).
Released in 2023, the epic film previously garnered seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) and has already won two accolades at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Announcing the latest achievement on his verified Instagram account, Femi expressed his excitement writing, “Wow, Guys! We’ve done it again! Delighted to announce that Jagun Jagun – The Warrior has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards.”
The film is competing in categories such as Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Costume, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Actress, Best Soundtrack, Best Indigenous Language Film, Best Production Design, Best Use of Makeup and Best Special Effects.
Jagun Jagun tells the compelling story of a ruthless warlord, Ogundiji who becomes wary of the rising power of Gbotija, a young warrior in training at his military school.
