Hadiza El-Rufai, wife of former governor of Kaduna State, has sparked reactions on X (formerly Twitter) after correcting Senator Shehu Sani’s grammar.

Sani has been having a running battle with ex-governor Nasir El-Rufai which has extended to the latter’s family.

Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the eighth assembly, made a post about President Bola Tinubu on Saturday.

In the post, he said that Tinubu’s travelling out of the country has a way of affecting taxes and prices of commodities.

‘’New law of economics; when the President travels out, taxes and prices goes up,” he wrote.

Mrs El-Rufai, who regularly corrects people’s grammar on X, spotted the former lawmaker’s post and wrote ‘’go up”.

El-Rufai reacted on Sunday: “I unfollowed you and you unfollowed me. And you still de hang around me. Mummy, leave me alone abeg.”

Appearing to taunt Sani, El-Rufai’s wife then wrote in a post: “It was all about the grammar until the ‘politicians’ jumped in.”
