Mama Rainbow who turned 82 on Wednesday, posted a series of images and videos on her Instagram account, expressing gratitude to God for her life and blessings.
In her first post, she wore a green dress accessorised with a gold handbag, a matching wristwatch, bracelets, rings and earrings.
Captioning the post, she wrote, “+1 today. I am now 82 years old. Thank you, Daddy.”
Another post featured a video of her in a photoshoot showcasing various outfits.
In one, she wore an ash-colored suit paired with a white turtleneck while another outfit featured her in a peach gown dancing.
She also donned traditional Yoruba attire, wearing an iro and buba matched with a gele and jewelry.
In a caption written in Yoruba, the actress reflected on her journey, expressing appreciation to God for how far she has come.
Her next post displayed pictures of her in a wine-colored iro and brown buba, accessorised with a wine gele, bead necklace, earrings and a stylish handbag.
“Turning 82 doesn’t mean the end of anything. It means the beginning of another year, with eight decades of wisdom. I am still your baby, family,” she wrote.
In her final post, the 82-year-old shared a video of herself dancing in Edo native attire, adorned with beautiful beads.
Wishing herself a happy birthday, she wrote, “Today, I celebrate another wonderful year of life, strength, and resilience. I may be 82, but I certainly don’t feel like it – age is just a number, and I am living proof!”
