Actor Kunle Remi has responded to allegations circulating online regarding his sexuality following claims by controversial blogger Gistlover.

The blogger recently released names of public figures allegedly involved in same-sex relationships.

Among those named were Kunle along with other well-known figures such as Yul Edochie, Tunde Ednut, Desmond Elliot, Uzee Usman, Timini Egbuson and Senator Rochas Okorocha.

Following the allegations, Kunle addressed the matter on Sunday night after receiving messages from friends and fans seeking his response.

The movie star made it clear on social media that he does not entertain negativity.

He wrote, “This page is for light and good vibes. I am not desperate for followers or engagement.

“If you come with darkness and negativity from a blog to my page, DM, or phone—be it as a friend, fan, or family — I will block you.

“I respect my space and energy tremendously, that’s why I don’t see all this nonsense normally.”

He emphasised the importance of setting boundaries, stating, “My boundaries are very clear. Love, light, and fhingz!”

Kunle accompanied his post with a reflective caption, urging his followers to be mindful of the negativity they absorb.

He warned, “People have unknowingly bound themselves to spirits that contaminate good soil.

“Even those who contribute to the spread and growth of negativity—whether by laughing, commenting, or sharing—have said yes to being in bed with vile spirit and therefore reaping whatever it will bring.”

He also highlighted the long-term impact of online behaviour noting, “The internet never forgets, and many have faced economic and family consequences years later.

“Bottom line: Recklessly protect light and positivity and unsubscribe from darkness.”

In 2023, during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, the actor recounted an experience where a male filmmaker propositioned him in exchange for career opportunities.

Kunle married his longtime girlfriend Boluwatiwi Oye on January 1, 2024.
