Actor and comedian Okey Bakassi has been met with a surprise from members of the cast and crew of the TV series My Flatmates in celebration of his birthday.
On Wednesday, Okey shared a video on Instagram from the set of the TV series, noting how he had to work even on his birthday.
The video captured the cast and crew singing a birthday song, with Okey seated and joining in the celebration by dancing.
He revealed that the first group to sing for him on set took him by surprise.
“In my job, you also work on your birthday. The good thing is my colleagues are also like family. Thanks to the cast and crew of @myflatmates. They wished me happy birthday when I arrived on set, but the group one was a surprise,” he captioned the post.
Earlier, the comedian posted a throwback video on Instagram, featuring pictures from his past, to announce his birthday.
“55 years of God’s love and blessings. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to my pursuit of happiness. Happy birthday, Okey,” he wrote.
My Flatmates, comedy series, has been airing since 2017. The cast includes Basketmouth, Yaw, Kayode Peters, Rekiya Yusuf, Buchi and Scarlet Gomez.
