Former Big Brother Naija contestant Maria Chike has announced the birth of her daughter Skylar Rose.
The 32-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Saturday along with maternity photos.
“My whole existence shall never seize (sic) to praise you lord.
“If you’re seeing this my little princess (Skylar Rose) is here. 23/10.
“Help me thank the good lord for all his mercies and love upon my little family,” the reality TV star captioned her post.
Maria rose to fame as a housemate in the 2021 edition of Big Brother Naija tagged Shine Ya Eyes.
She welcomed a son named Leonardo with her partner Kelvin Anene in October 2023.
Speaking about her postpartum experience in a podcast earlier this year, Maria said “I didn’t let anyone carry my baby, and at some point, I was irritating everyone. My family thought I was mentally not okay.”
