Gospel singer Tope Alabi has expressed gratitude to her husband Soji Alabi for his support in a heartfelt birthday appreciation post.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the musician thanked her fans, friends and family who celebrated her 54th birthday on Sunday.
She shared a picture of herself along with a lengthy message, expressing her appreciation for everyone who reached out with messages, gifts and well-wishes.
“I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who celebrated my birthday with me yesterday. To everyone who posted, sent gifts, prayers, and more, I see it all and I sincerely appreciate it,” she wrote.
“Your presence during the total worship was truly special, and I am overwhelmed by the massive love and support I received. Even with the rain at the end of the program, you waited and didn’t want us to stop. This means a lot to me.”
Tope extended special thanks to her colleagues, university students, people of Ibadan, volunteers and everyone who made the day memorable.
“It’s a lot that you all have done for me, and I am so grateful,” she added.
She also thanked Gospel Vibes for their consistent support and paid tribute to her husband Soji for always being by her side.
“Your kindness and support have filled my heart with joy, and I cannot thank you enough. I pray that you all continue to be blessed abundantly, just as you have blessed me with your love and presence. May all the blessings and answers received yesterday be permanent in Jesus’ mighty name,” she wrote.
Tope Alabi announced in October that she would host a worship session to mark her 54th birthday.
She got married to Soji Alabi in 1998. They have three children.
