Film director James ‘Abinibi’ Alabi has released the official trailer for his latest work Miss PJ.
The 1:49-minute trailer was uploaded on YouTube on Saturday ahead of its global exclusive streaming release on Amazon Prime Video on November 15.
Abinibi, as he is famously known, shared the official poster for the film on Instagram on Friday.
Set in Ibadan, Oyo State, the film follows a young woman’s journey on her National Youth Service Corps assignment as she unexpectedly becomes the heroine of a small town terrorised by a mysterious killer.
Miss PJ is written, produced and directed by James, under his production company Rockbottom Flix.
The film features an impressive cast including Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, Charles Okocha, Ibrahim Chatta, Kunle Afolayan and Rachel Okonkwo.
James Abinibi was named Best Director at the 2019 African Film Awards in the UK for his film Last Request.
His recent project Life and Dirt released on Prime Video on October 3 quickly rose to the top becoming the No. 1 TV show in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon within the first weeks of release.
The filmmaker just completed post-production on his upcoming crime series Rock City starring Kunle Remi, Chidi Mokeme and Shaffy Bello, set to premiere in early 2025.
