Veteran actor Patrick Doyle has shaved off his beards in preparation for his role in the upcoming second season of Blood Sisters.
Patrick shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing his clean-shaven look and announcing his new role in the Netflix series.
In the video recorded from a tricycle, commonly known as a “keke,” Patrick playfully explained, “Here am I taking a ride home from the barber’s shop in my own chauffeur-driven keke.
“If you’re asking me why, it’s because I will be shooting a scene in Blood Sisters 2 as the Inspector General of Police. So, I have begun shaving.”
He captioned the 35-second video with, “The things we have to do for the good people we entertain.”
The return of the highly anticipated second season of Blood Sisters was announced in October by Mo Abudu.
The first season, which premiered on Netflix on May 5, 2022 was a four-part series created through a partnership between Netflix and Mo Abudu’s Ebonylife TV.
The series was directed by Biyi Bandele and Kenneth Gyang.
Blood Sisters features a star-studded cast including Ini Dima-Okojie, Nancy Isime, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kate Henshaw, Ramsey Nouah, and Genoveva Umeh.
