Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has announced the death of his father.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Nwabali mourned his dad with the words: “Rest in peace, dad”.
He did not reveal the cause of the death.
Nwabali was on duty for the team on Thursday in Cote d’Ivoire as the Super Eagles drew 1-1 against Benin Republic to qualify for AFCON 2025.
