Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has congratulated Nigerians who won elections recently in the United States and Australia.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa made a video which she posted on social media on Friday, wishing the newly elected persons success.
Among those mentioned in the video is Gabe Okoye who was re-elected to represent District 102 in Georgia’s House of Representatives; Segun Adeyina re-elected to represent District 112 also in Georgia’s House of Representatives, Oye Owolewa elected to represent the District of Columbia in the US House of Representatives; Solomon Adesanya elected to represent District 43 in Georgia’s House of Representatives and Janelle Anyanonu who won election to represent New Mexico State in District 19, Albuquerque.
“Hearty congratulations to Nigerians in the US and Australia who have just won their elections. Wishing them great success,” the NIDCOM boss captioned her post.
