Singer Flavour N’abania has reacted to a comment made by media personality Harry Obi who suggested that 2024 Miss Universe first runner-up, Chidimma Adetshina should be kept away from the highlife star.
Following Adetshina’s announcement as the first runner-up, Obi took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate but added a playful caution.
“Congrats to us, but we are not done with Chidimma yet. Our next move is to hide her from Flavour N’abania,” he wrote. #
The post quickly went viral, accumulating over 14,000 likes and 3,000 retweets, with many joining the banter in agreement.
In his response, the “Big Baller” crooner expressed his surprise at being dragged into the conversation despite keeping a low profile.
He humorously described himself as an “Igbo angel,” adding that he trusts God to look out for him. “Minding my business and still collecting stray bullet. A whole Igbo angel. Na God get me,” Flavour wrote.
Flavour is married to former beauty queen Sandra Okagbue and also has a daughter with ex-Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Anna Ebiere Banner.
At 23, Adetshina made history as the first Nigerian woman to secure the first runner-up and Miss Universe Africa and Oceania position in the Miss Universe competition which concluded in Mexico City on Sunday morning.
Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig took home the crown, surpassing Adetshina in the final round.
