Actress Mo Bimpe has marked International Men’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to her husband Lateef Adedimeji.
Mo Bimpe shared a photo of herself and Lateef, both elegantly dressed on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
The picture captures Lateef in a black suit, paired with black shoes and sunglasses, while Mo Bimpe stuns in a red dress.
Accompanying the post was an emotional message where she expressed her appreciation.
“I join the world today to celebrate all the amazing men who continue to keep the world going in their awesome ways.
“As the entire world continues to push the message of mental health, I align with that and I’m encouraging men to speak up, seek help and remember that you matter.
“And to mine, for the man you are to me and everyone around us, you’re a gift and I’m grateful to God for you.
“Dear men, we see you, we appreciate you, we love you. Happy International Men’s Day hubs and every awesome man out there,” she wrote.
International Men’s Day, observed annually on November 19 is a global initiative focused on raising awareness about various challenges men face, including mental health, parental alienation, abuse, homelessness and violence.
Though first suggested in 1992, it gained prominence in 1999 through the efforts of Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh.
