Afrobeats singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has reflected on his journey, penning appreciation to his maker as he turns 32.
The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ hitmaker who is celebrating his birthday on Thursday, shared candid thoughts with his fans on social media.
In a late-night post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Davido revealed that his life has not always been smooth sailing.
Despite what some might assume, the singer said he has faced numerous challenges over the years.
“Big 32 soon! Omo, God is good. Happy to be alive! My eyes don see shege! But steady my fans dey shout shekpe!” he wrote.
As part of his birthday celebration, Davido announced plans to donate N300 million to orphanages.
This act of generosity echoes a similar gesture he made in 2021 when he gave the same amount to support orphanages on his 29th birthday.
