Group managing director and chief executive officer of UBA Plc Oliver Alawuba on Tuesday paid a visit to Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno over the death of his wife Patience Eno.
Mrs Eno died of an undisclosed illness on September 26. She was 57.
Mr Alawuba was accompanied on the trip by some senior officials of the bank.
The bank chief shared photos of the visit on social media, saying: “Earlier today, I paid a condolence visit to the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, to mourn the passing of his beloved wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. She was truly a pillar of strength and passion—a remarkable woman whose impact could be felt even from afar.
“I pray that God grants the Umo Eno family peace and comfort during this difficult time and welcomes her into His eternal embrace. May her memory remain a source of inspiration to all. I also call on the good people of Akwa Ibom to rally around Pastor Umo Eno and his family, offering their love and unwavering support in this season of loss.”
