President Bola Tinubu and his wife Oluremi Tinubu have arrived in Paris, France for a three-day official visit.
The airplane conveying them landed at Orly Airport in Paris around 5:10 pm (local time) on Wednesday and was received by the French Guard Republican.
The Nigerian leader’s visit is at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga said on Tuesday that the meeting aims to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
He also said the talks would focus on key areas such as agriculture, security, education, health, youth empowerment, innovation and energy transition.
During his stay, Tinubu and wife are scheduled to visit the historic Les Invalides military museum before meeting Macron and first lady Brigitte Macron at the Élysée Palace.
