Sound Sultan, born Olanrewaju Fasasi died on July 11, 2021, at the age of 44.
He succumbed to angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects the T-cells.
Known for his socially conscious lyrics and impactful music, Sound Sultan remains a beloved figure in the Nigerian music industry.
