Florence Ajimobi has paid tribute to her late husband and former governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi.
She said in a social media post that November 29, 2024, would have been their 45th wedding anniversary, adding that the late Ajimobi nurtured her.
“I am a living proof of a woman nurtured by a good man,” she wrote. “See how far you have moulded me, ‘Biola? I couldn’t have gotten this far without your mentorship, leadership and love.”
The former Oyo first lady thanked her late husband for the memorable 40 years they spent together.
“Today would have marked our 45 years of marriage but alas you are not here. Yet I still celebrate you, my love, because you were indeed an epitome of love and a good husband,” she continued.
“Our life together was amazing, and I keep telling myself that I really enjoyed you, Oko mi.
“Even though you’re gone, I still feel you around. I will forever love and hold you very dear in my heart. Happy wedding anniversary olowo ori mi and my hero.”
