The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website set to go live on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The new website, located at www.cbn.gov.ng, promises an enhanced user experience with modern technology and in-house design innovations.
According to a statement on Sunday from the acting director of corporate communications Hakama Ali the revamped website incorporates a modern web API, responsive design, expanded content and improved user engagement.
The CBN expressed gratitude to the public for their feedback which helped guide the redesign process.
CBN governor Olayemi Cardoso previously highlighted plans to revamp the bank’s communication strategies, emphasising the importance of clarity in conveying complex monetary policy decisions.
“We are going to strengthen the process of getting out and receiving feedback because the worst thing you want to do is to make communication a one-way traffic,” Cardoso stated.
