Actress Funke Akindele has released the official trailer for her highly anticipated movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, set to premiere in cinemas on December 13, 2024.
Funke shared the trailer on her Instagram page on Monday captioning it, “Ladies and Gentlemen! 🔊 The official trailer of #EverybodyLovesJenifa!!!”
The trailer features D’banj and Lagbaja as special guests.
The post quickly garnered praise from fans and celebrities alike.
Funke is optimistic about the film’s commercial success, projecting it will earn N5 billion in ticket sales.
Speaking at an Exhibitor Soirée in November, she expressed her confidence saying, “We can beat N5 billion; I have faith.”
Funke also called on fans and stakeholders to tackle piracy which she noted had negatively impacted her previous movie, A Tribe Called Judah.
In the months leading up to the release of Everybody Loves Jenifa, Funke and her team have rolled out various promotional campaigns to build excitement around the film.
Everybody Loves Jenifa boasts a star-studded cast, including Nancy Isime, Stan Nze, Bisola Aiyeola, Patience Ozokwo, Chimezie Imo, Jackie Appiah, Folarin Falana (Falz), and Isaac Olayiwola, popularly known as Layi Wasabi.
