Nigeria’s most popular entertainment and gossip blog, http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com, has been shut down by Google.
This followed complaints of copyright infringement by people whose works she allegedly published without permission.
The message from Google on Wednesday reads: “Sorry, the blog at lindaikeji.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.”
Qed.ng leant the former model is working on registering and owning her own domain name for future blogging.
In the interim, she has done what most celebrities do when they have a challenge on their hands – taken her case to Twitter.
In a tweet posted shortly after the removal went viral, the self-made millionaire declared “Linda Ikeji Blog will be back in a bit…biko bear with me…:-)”
