Gospel singer Moses Bliss, founder of the Christian music label Spotlite Nation, has addressed the controversy surrounding his split with former signee Ebuka Songs.
Speaking at a press conference during The Experience 2024 concert in Lagos, where both artistes performed separately, Moses Bliss dismissed any notion of bad blood between them.
“There are no issues between me and Ebuka Songs. Of course, he was signed to Spotlite Nation, but he said he just wanted to do things on his own,” Moses said.
The ‘Daddy Wey Dey Pamper’ singer further revealed that Ebuka left the label before the expiration of his contract.
“Our contract was supposed to last three years, but 11 months into it, he said he wanted to do music alone. I prayed about it and said, ‘You can go.’ I hold no grudge against him; the goal is for Jesus to be seen,” he added.
Recall that in May, Ebuka Songs cited a “clash of visions” as the reason for his departure from Spotlite Nation.
The Experience 18, held on Friday at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, featured several gospel ministers, including Yinka Alaseyori, Nathaniel Bassey, Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, Frank Edwards, Limoblaze, and international act Travis Greene.
