Musician Bisade Ologunde, popularly known as Lagbaja, has received widespread applause for his performance at the premiere of Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa.
The star-studded event was held at Filmhouse Lekki IMAX on Sunday, where Lagbaja serenaded guests with his timeless classics.
A highlight of the evening featured Lagbaja sharing the dance floor with Funke Akindele and Falz, drawing cheers from the crowd.
Videos from the performance circulated online on Monday, with fans showering praises on the iconic musician.
Prince Oyedele wrote, “Good to see Ejiro back to Lagbaja as his vocal singer. Another banger from Lagbaja.”
Another fan, Kemson commented, “Awwwwwn I love Lagbaja ❤️❤️❤️ the video is interesting full of lovely people.”

The premiere attracted a host of Nollywood stars and entertainers, including Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Bisola Aiyeola, Iyabo Ojo, Nancy Isime, Patience Ozokwor, Layi Wasabi, Stan Nze, Chimezie Imo, Omowumi Dada, Blessing Obasi, Kiekie, and D’banj.
Ahead of the premiere, Funke Akindele hosted a dinner for the movie cast on Saturday at Del Borough Hotel in Lagos.
Everybody Loves Jenifa will officially hit cinemas on December 13.
