Queen Dami, the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo and current girlfriend of controversial singer Portable, has revealed that she is ending her relationship with the singer.
The announcement was made on her Instagram page on Thursday, where Dami expressed her frustration with Portable’s recent behavior, particularly his public humiliation of her during a live video.
“I’m done,” Dami wrote.
“This is too much for me. Can’t take this embarrassment again. Alhamdulilahi.” She added, “Ire o,” signaling her decision to part ways.
The decision follows a tense incident in which Portable publicly criticised Dami.
In the live video, he questioned her actions online, accusing her of engaging in polygamy and implying that she might not be a housewife but a “runs girl.”
His comments came just hours before Dami made her announcement.
The post comes only days after the couple had reconciled, with Queen Dami confronting Portable about their relationship.
She had made it clear that her loyalty was based on financial support, warning him that if he married another woman, she would walk away.
This is not the first public fallout between the pair.
Last month, Portable accused Dami of chasing women away from his bar and criticised her for not appreciating his financial support for her son, the late king’s child.
In a pointed response, Dami declared that no one could stop her from living a blessed life, stating that her blessings were once her prayers.
