You’re never hearing from us again, Sophia Momodu shuts down trolls on TikTok live

Sophia Momodu, fashion entrepreneur and mother of Imade Adeleke, her daughter with Afrobeats star Davido, has announced that they will no longer engage in social media live sessions due to hurtful comments from trolls.

During a TikTok live session on Friday, Sophia known for sharing lighthearted moments with Imade, became visibly upset after false and negative remarks flooded the chat.

Imade, who was not initially part of the session, joined and pleaded as Sophia considered ending the live.

“Please don’t end the live, I know it’s because of them,” Imade said, addressing the trolls.

Sophia questioned why Imade didn’t want the session to end, the young girl turned her attention to viewers, saying, “It’s your fault we are ending the live forever.”

Sophia encouraged her daughter to call out the false claims.

Imade said, “Stop saying what’s not true… and the people who keep hurting our feelings. Now we have to end the live forever.”

Sophia reaffirmed their decision saying, “It’s your fault we are ending the live forever and you guys are never hearing from us again.”

When a fan in the comments pleaded, “Please come back soon,” Imade responded firmly, “We are not coming back soon.”

In a video shared on Saturday, Sophia explained that she and Imade only intended to share fun content but could no longer continue due to the spread of false narratives.

This incident follows Sophia’s public resolution with real estate firm Zcess & Co in September.

The company had accused her of misleading the public by suggesting ownership of a property that allegedly belonged to another client.

After reaching an agreement, Zcess & Co deleted their accusatory posts.

The controversy began when Sophia excited fans with a video of the home, sparking debate over the property’s ownership.
