Actress Bimbo Ademoye has prayed to God for her father’s long life as she prepares to reunite with him for the Christmas celebration.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Bimbo described her father as her “safe place” and recalled his comforting words: “No matter what happens outside, know that you can always come home.”
The Anikulapo star reflected on the difference between a house and a home, noting that her favorite part of December is returning to spend time with her father and siblings.
“Having all my siblings come home as well is the icing on the cake,” she added.
Bimbo prayed, “Dear God, pls keep my daddy as he’s old and gray, ki iku ma pa daddy mi. There’s a lot I still have to do for him.”
The actress who often speaks fondly of her father, celebrated his birthday in June with emotional tributes, praising him for the values he instilled in her and his profound impact on her life.
She admitted then that her father had set a standard she doubts her future husband could match.
