Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated first lady Remi Tinubu on receiving honorary doctorates from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
In a statement on Tuesday, Mr Sanwo-Olu said the honours testify of Mrs Tinubu’s commitment to service, leadership and nation-building.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Lagos State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you, Your Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and celebrate the well-deserved conferment of two prestigious honorary doctorate degrees that recognize your remarkable contributions to our nation,” the statement said.
“Your recent awards; the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Management, Honoris Causa from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and the Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, are a testament to your enduring commitment to service, leadership, and nation-building.
