Fuji legends Saheed Osupa, K1 De Ultimate and Ayinla Kollington joined their colleague Wasiu Pasuma to celebrate his 40 years on stage at a star-studded event on Wednesday night.
The event, held at Sheraton Bamora Hall in Ikeja, Lagos, brought together a host of music and Nollywood stars, including KS1 Malaika, Sefiu Alao, Remi Aluko, Faithia Balogun, Kemi Korede, IBD Dende and Lagos NURTW chairman, Mustapha Sego.
Pasuma’s 40th-anniversary celebration is part of an ongoing world tour, which began earlier this year in Europe and has since attracted fans globally.
One of the standout moments of the night was the reunion between Fuji icons K1 De Ultimate and Ayinla Kollington.
The two, whose rumoured rivalry over musical supremacy had sparked years of speculation, were seen dining and chatting together, much to the delight of guests.
Last month, Saheed Osupa had also celebrated his bond with Pasuma on the latter’s birthday, sharing an emotional tribute on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to my friend, Ajibola Alabi Pasuma @officialpasuma. I’m so grateful that we were able to work through our recent rough patch and come out even stronger on the other side. It’s a testament to the unbreakable bond we share,” he wrote.
