Singer Simi and her husband Adekunle Gold have reaffirmed their love for each other as they mark six years of marriage.
On Monday, Simi shared a montage of their cherished moments on Instagram, reflecting on their journey together.
She described their union as six years of bliss and praised Adekunle for being the best man she knows, adding that he still makes her laugh.
“6 years. You still make me laugh. You’re still the best man I know. You’re still the one. Happy Anniversary Baby. I love you,” she wrote.
Adekunle Gold also celebrated the milestone by sharing clips of their heartwarming moments. In his tribute, he described Simi as his greatest blessing, partner, peace, and joy.
“6 years don waka, we still dey carry go! You’ve been my greatest blessing, my partner in everything, my peace, and my joy. Everyday with you is a gift, and I’m forever grateful for you.
“Obimo, here’s to the beautiful memories we’ve created and the countless ones ahead. Happy anniversary, my forever love,” he wrote.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, welcomed their daughter Deja in 2020.
Last year, they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by releasing a music video and reminiscing about their five-year journey.
Simi has previously shared her perspective on marriage, noting in an interview, “Living together before marriage helped us understand each other better and prepared us for a stronger bond.”
